The Quarry at La Quinta
The Quarry at La Quinta is recognized worldwide as one of the finest private golf communities.
Meticulously carved with precision in the Coachella Valley, The Quarry is dramatically nestled at the base of the foothills between the Coral and the Santa Rosa Mountains.
The Majestic warm embrace of this extraordinary desert hideaway, coupled with the award-winning Tom Fazio golf course can only be described as "Simply Perfection".
Designed by Tom Fazio
Upon seeing the site, Fazio stated, “This is a 10, and yes, we can do a lot with this property.”
After personally overseeing close to 15 routing plans, Fazio came up with a three-level layout that created very distinct playing areas. The quarry wall became a focal point allowing golfers to play off it, along side of it, into it and off it again. This would be dramatically evident on the picturesque 10th hole. The bottom quarry floor level hosted seven holes. Another seven holes rested at the alluvial fan which loomed 80 feet above the quarry. Four holes perched within a mountain cove above. In all, golfers would experience a gradual change in elevation of more than 400 feet when playing the course.
“The Quarry was a trendsetter in so many ways,” said Fazio. “It set a standard for golf in the desert.”
The Reserve Club
Our community is such a unique and relaxing experience that many of our guests are surprised such a perfect country club is so close to Palm Desert. The sentinel stone columns that greet the entrance lead deep into a serene residential retreat. Our bungalows, casitas, villas and estate homes, vary in their sizes and design features to suit individual needs. All of them share a natural palette of color and textures that capture the drama and beauty of the surrounding terrain. Open living rooms flow seamlessly from the inside and out with generous places to entertain and quiet spaces to rest and relax.
The Tom Weiskopf/Jay Morrish designed course at The Reserve rises out of the desert splendor and creates a unique Coachela Valley golf experience. The course features a beautiful landscape and challenging holes that provide some of the best golf in Indian Wells. Embracing rugged foothills, tranquil canyons and stunning foliage, our designers took their cues from the dramatic natural surroundings and went to great lengths to preserve its essence. The result is an unparalleled course that establishes the reserve a premier Coachella valley golf course.
Tradition Golf Club
Among private golf clubs, Tradition is singular. This coveted enclave in La Quinta, California is not only graced by the land’s natural splendor but also instilled with the rare air of a historical landmark. Once a desert getaway for Hollywood celebrities and heads of state, the former ranch’s origins are imbued with mystique. From its mountainous panoramic vistas to its undulating fairways and billiard table greens, Tradition Golf Club is awash in beauty.
Paired with impeccably designed residences featuring Spanish Revival, Early California and Mediterranean architecture, the Club is a haven of understated luxury.
When Arnold Palmer saw this magical venue, he set out to design the golf course only he could envision. And it shows. Tradition, with top rankings from several publications, is one of the finest courses in the nation. Above all, the members make a club what it is. Within the context of this remarkable setting, the members are a dynamic, inviting group of families and friends; people who enjoy life and delight in all the club has to offer.

Trilogy at La Quinta
The community of Shea Homes in South La Quinta was designed with the baby boomer generation in mind. Opening in 2003, this `active adult` 55+ community is tucked against the Santa Rosa Mountains and has 1200 homes with values ranging from the low $200,000s to the high $600,000s with HOA dues just under $300 per month.

18-hole championship Southern California golf course has been tested and tried
by professional golf players including Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, Mark
O`Meara, Annika Sorenstam and Tiger Woods.
Several sets of tee boxes, including the Skins tees that play at nearly 7,200 yards, provide a length that is just right for your golf game. Dramatic water features and sand perils complement the golf course fairways, leading to the rolling greens. The natural California desert landscape of the surrounding Coachella Valley creates a boundary of play both beautiful and daunting. The Golf Club at La Quinta opened for play in 2002 in the ever-beautiful and ever-developing City of La Quinta, which is located in the eastern half of Southern California`s Coachella Valley.
